The Pastoral Team has been working on honing their storytelling skills.
Over the past months, trained volunteer community facilitators have given 6 workshops in different communities in Segundo Montes: Dos in San Luis and one each in Hatos 1, La Joya, Quebrachos y Barreal. Close to 150 community members in these Collective Memory workshops worked together to recollect the history of how Segundo Montes experienced their collective life. Each workshop followed the same agenda and participants contributed information to the same timeline but every workshop manifested new information.
After the workshops ended, the pastoral team went to work to analyze the information from the workshops and piece together a narrative version of their collective past. Each theme had a dedicated study group piecing together what to put in, what to leave out, what was true, what was false, specific dates, amounts and names. It was tedious work but in the end they were able to elaborate.

The goal was to present a visual exposition of their upcoming historical memory book to the community for the 25th anniversary.
